Martin Clunes adjusts to new pace (BELFAST TELEGRAPH)
"If anyone had told me 10 years ago that I would have my own farm, and be driving a cart pulled by two Clydesdales, I would have laughed in their face.
"I just didn't see it coming," the actor said of life on the farm.
He added: "I found this new speed quite shocking to begin with, very slow. But I've turned 51 recently and I have a six-month ban on my driving licence, and this speed could be my future, staring at my horses' bums as they plod me around the countryside."
Martin, who has been filming a two-part documentary about working horses for ITV, added: "It's quite a nice way to go."

Downton Abbey's Dame Maggie Smith took home an early award at the 70th annual Golden Globes.
Smith was honored with the award for 'Best Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role In A Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made For Television' at Sunday evening's (January 13) ceremony.

'Quartet' Star Tom Courtenay Refused To Watch Dame Maggie Smith As The Dowager In 'Downton Abbey' (huffington post)
Veteran British actor Tom Courtenay deliberately avoided watching Dame Maggie Smith in 'Downton Abbey' before playing her love interest onscreen because he didn't want to be "put off".
Courtenay puckers up to kiss Smith in their movie 'Quartet', about a group of retired opera singers, and admits he didn't want to see her as feisty character the Dowager Countess of Grantham in the hit TV show before their big moment.

The Cast of Downton Abbey Takes a Royal Field Trip to See Dan Stevens in The Heiress (BROADWAY BUZZ)

Dan Stevens had some very noble guests in the audience at The Heiress on December 11, when a group of his Downton Abbey co-stars came all the way from England to catch his performance! After seeing Stevens’ Broadway debut as dashing suitor Morris Townsend, Downton Abbey stars Joanne Froggatt (Anna), Elizabeth McGovern (Lady Grantham), Sophie McShera (Daisy), Hugh Bonneville (Lord Grantham), Jim Carter (Carson) and Rob James-Collier (Thomas) gathered onstage for a celebratory photo with their Matthew. (MIA: The woman we hope Stevens will marry this season, Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary!)
