Colin Firth: Mr Darcy's looking for an eligible country estate By CHARLOTTE GRIFFITHS (MAIL ON LINE)

Colin Firth wants to become a real-life Mr Darcy – by  moving to a sprawling estate in the country.
The actor, who found fame  as the male lead in the 1995 TV series Pride And Prejudice, plans to relocate from Chiswick, West London.

Residents of the village of  Batcombe in Somerset have seen the 52-year-old King’s Speech actor and his wife  Livia, 43, pictured right, looking at properties near the home of one  of their best friends, television presenter Mariella Frostrup.
